Nashville SC Signs Players

Nashville SC has signed its first four players for its inaugural season in the United Soccer League.
The club’s first and most high profile signee is goalkeeper Matt Pickens, who was a member of the 2010 MLS Cup champion Colorado Rapids. Nashville has also signed American midfielder Matt LaGrassa, forward Robin Shroot from Northern Ireland and defender Oumar Ballo from Mali. Contract details were not disclosed, but a typical USL player makes a few thousand dollars per month. Once Nashville SC becomes an official MLS franchise next month they will be required to start posting player salaries twice per year.
